About Me
My name is Avery McAllister. Welcome to my page!
I am a Markham-based makeup artist and hairstylist with a decade of customer service experience and a natural gift for creating calm, welcoming environments. My love for makeup began as a pre-teen experimenting with beauty looks for friends; even doing prom makeup while still in high school. Though my path first led me to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Honours from Trent University, my journey ultimately brought me back to my true passion: makeup artistry.
Blending my background in psychology with my creative eye, I approach every client with empathy, attentiveness, and artistry. I believe makeup is more than just a look, it’s a way to help people feel confident, seen, and authentically themselves.
Now pursuing my diploma in Makeup for Media and Creative Arts at Sheridan College, I continue to grow my craft in beauty, editorial, and event makeup. My work is known for its timeless elegance, attention to detail, and soft, polished finishes that enhance natural beauty.
